Your subject lines play a decisive task in any email campaign ads, whether you use autoresponders, safelists, ezine solo ads or any opt-in list where email is concerned. Your subject line will make or mar your return on your investment, so make sure you get their interest first.
Below are six headlines that have worked for me in the past, which I’m sure will work for you too. Technology will constantly change, but people’s yearning to succeed and inquisitiveness will not.
1. Hi, My name is Nancy
This works plainly because it raises prospects inquisitiveness. I’m continually a sucker for this subject line. Who’s this Nancy anyway? I’ve had an accomplishment with this using ezine solo ads.
2. Promote Your Business Here Free!
For whatsoever reasons, I’ve had plenty of positive responses using this subject line when advertising safelists, free classified sites, and those viral ad boards.
3. I need your help, please!
There’s something about being a human, frequently wanting to help a different human being. It’s hard to put in plain words, but it just works.
4. Matt, I haven’t received your mailing address yet.
What! my mailing address? Why do you need my mailing address for? This particular subject line piqued my interest. If you send postcards to your members or prospects, this will advance your sales, above all, if you customize it.
5. Dave, Please accept my sincerest apology.
Once I saw this subject line from an email, my initial response was, “who/what /why are you sorry?…huh?” Exactly it got my interest and my inquisitiveness. The sender apologized for not sending that email sooner, which was about a new traffic exchange program. Good grief.
6. How my website got listed #1 on Google, for free!
This one made several earnings from the Trafficswarm traffic exchange program when I was marketing an affiliate program about search engine e-book. I even made extra sales with ezine solo ads via the same subject line.
Finally, make your subject line so convincing that it’s almost appealing for your prospects not to click the email message. If you can mesmerize your readers with intelligent subject lines, you are halfway to making a sale. Also, when people can identify where that email message came from, that will help get your email message clicked. Don’t use false names; use your actual name instead.
Of course, I am not advising that you use each of these headlines if they are not accurate concerning the email message’s content. If you rely on deception in email marketing, all you will do is tarnish your reputation and credibility.
